This role is for the Sofa Delivery Company, delivering sofas on behalf of DFS, Sofology & Dwell.

This role isn't just about driving and delivering - we give you ownership of the final customer moment, installing their furniture in their home in a way that gives them a great experience and meets our expert standards.

A day in the life of...

• As part of a two man team, delivering & installing sofas in to our customers homes

• Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicle and equipment informing the line manager of any defects/missing items immediately

• Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures

• Fully understand and adhere to the rules and regulation of the EC driver hours, tachograph and road transport directive

• Proactively and effectively communicate with the customer to confirm delivery in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures

• Efficiently deliver allocated customers orders in a safe and secure manner to meet the customer’s needs

• Assist in the accurate loading and unloading of vehicles to comply with the company’s policies and procedures

• Maintain up to date and accurate product knowledge to insist in the installation of all products
