Apprentice Quality Control Technician

Your new role

You will eventually offer a complete product evaluation service including fault diagnosis, cause analysis and in-depth detailed reporting with the ability for proposed modifications. You'll meticulously test and audit furniture from inception to completion, and also carry out and build all the necessary Product Brief Sheets to a sign off and introduction to the wider business.

A day in the life of...

  • Learn all QC responsibilities and aim to meet the required quality Sofology standards

  • Evaluate reported issues and offer resolution / modification for Service Prevention

  • Learn & undertake container audits making observations of the effects of packing, loading and transporting and offer advice on how to improve it

  • Gather all relevant information from new model samples ensuring that all required information is highly detailed

  • Actively pursue the resolution of all issues through quarterly product reviews and reporting processes and guarantee their quality at the end of the process

  • Build, Review and sign off Product Brief Sheets for handover to Senior QC Technician 

  • Support the line managers and action or undertake any reasonable request to meet the needs of the business.
