Artwork Lead
Your new role
Sofology is already a strong brand but it is in its growth stage with a lot more exciting strategic development ahead to make it great. Marketing and creative will play a pivotal role in brand growth and the Artwork Lead will play an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns. The role will sit within the Design and Production Team and will be a team player that can deliver amazing high quality artwork across a range of channels, including print and digital (web, email, social). They will have a razor sharp eye for detail and this role is a key to driving exceptional standards in the marketing output. They will be obsessive about accuracy, consistency and beautiful design.
A day in the life of...
Deliver creative, effective design work required from the Marketing plan
Work with wider Marketing team to ensure clear understanding of briefing
Constantly monitor brand consistency with Creative team members
Work with 3d and creative concept teams to take concepts and assets to deliver campaign artwork
Deliver work that is of high quality and to correct specification
Develop and design assets that adhere to style guides for campaigns
Lead the print artwork production and delivery - store point of sale, print advertising, OOH,
Lead artwork for social channel
Lead image retouch and manipulation
Produce content for paid media across print and digital
Support Lead Digital Designer in website and email creative
Ensure all outputs are correct to specification
Liaise with external suppliers
Manage one direct report - Artworker, which you will coach and develop.
Key contributor to brand guidelines.

Must have a razor sharp eye for detail and consistency
Demonstrate their experience in creating and managing brand guidelines and style guides
A team player who can work with other managers
They will need to be able to build great relationships across the business, liaise with stakeholders on clear briefing, expectation management
Strong problem solving skills to ensure campaigns and meet the standard on time
Tenacious approach to quality and instilling that in the team
Highly competent in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign
Highly experienced and knowledgeable in print specifications, colour profiling.
