Your new role

Sitting within our Marketing team, Customer Insight is responsible for understanding customer needs and behaviour at each stage of the purchasing journey.

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Customer Insight Analyst to help us to extract insights from a variety of data sources, in order to support business decision-making.  The successful applicant will work with multiple internal and external teams and will be responsible for delivering actionable insights through regular reporting, presentations and project collaboration

A day in the life of...

• Develop new insights by combining commercial and customer data with primary market and consumer research

• Identify trends and opportunities to support business decision making, including brand and proposition development

• NPS analysis and reporting to help drive improvements in our customer experience

• Post-campaign analysis, combining data from our media partners, marketing, digital and finance teams

• Building relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple departments; the DFS group insight team; and our external data and research partners 

In an ideal world...

• Data literate and with a strong analytical mindset, combined with Advanced Excel skills

• Experience of working with analytical packages and GSuite would be an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication, including data storytelling, visualisation, and presentation skills

• Curious, inquisitive and customer-focused approach

• Good commercial awareness and problem solving skills

• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment, building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

• A strong desire to learn, develop and progress
