Design and Production Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Creative Team for a Design and Production Manager. You will be accountable for the design and production of all assets across various media channels and lead a team of talented Designers, across print, digital, video and animation. You’ll be an experienced Designer with a beautiful portfolio, with an obsession for detail, quality and consistency. This role will work alongside the Creative Concept and 3D teams.
A day in the life of...
Key Responsibilities
Manage the design quality of campaign output
Liaise closely with the Concept team to take style guide to design and develop assets across channels
Ensure everything is on brand and design of impeccable standard
Manage all production throughput on time and on brief
Manage consistency across all assets
Owner and up keep brand guidelines
Ensure all outputs are correct to specification and industry standards
File and archive output in a clear coherent and accessible way
Coach, guide and develop direct reports
Work closely with Creative Manager on transfer of projects from conception to production
Traffic work and ensure all production is delivered on time and effectively manage freelance resource where required
Work with the wider teams to continually improve efficiencies and processes. Be standards driven; working with Marketing to seek quality improvements
Liaise with external suppliers
Strong team player who is highly visible across the business. Integrated team member, working with other teams, ie Buying and Retail
Work with other Creative Managers to create a highly creative and collaborative environment in the Support Office

Candidate Requirements
An experienced presenter and communicator, this role would be expected to present at internal and external meetings
A dynamic creative that can adapt to new technologies and new media
Must have vast experience in design and artworking in print and digital
Experienced in digital UI design and working with UX teams
Demonstrate their experience in creating and managing brand guidelines and style guides
A team player who can work with other managers - 3D, Creative and Website, but can get their hands dirty and involved in the design on a day to day basis
You will need to be able to build great relationships across the business, liaise with stakeholders on clear briefing, expectation management
Strong problem solving skills to ensure campaigns and meet the standard on time.
Tenacious approach to quality and instilling that in the team
Highly competent in Adobe Indesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/Premiere/After Effects
Strong Leadership and coaching skills
Whilst creative is imperative, this role requires high organisation and analytical skills.
