Your new role
Working within the Sofology Trading Team you will support our ambitious content management system replatform. You will execute best in class online merchandising through excellent management of product, category , page and search on the Bloomreach CMS.. As well as supporting the Senior Online Trading Manager with BAU product and campaign management, you will be immersing yourself in analytics such as google, Content Square and insights to understand how the online activity is performing on an ongoing basis, and using insight to identify where revenue can be increased by improving product pages, search results, product list page and category page content.
A day in the life of...
Our Online Trading Assistant, you’ll spend your time doing so much more than sitting! Here are just a few of the things you’ll be getting up to:
- You’ll treat our customers and Sofologists like they are family, offering pizazz with every experience.
- You'll leave no stone unturned on your quest to give your customers the rock star treatment, challenging the ‘we’ve always done it this way’ mindset at every opportunity.
- You’ll be working collaboratively with the Senior Online Trading Manager to execute the online trading plan that drives sales performance.
- You will immerse yourself in analytics such as google, Content Square and insights to ensure everything you do is driven by data.
- You’ll be identifying where revenue can be increased by improving product pages, search results, product list page and category page content.
- You will actively know how product ranges are performing and be actively proposing online trading activities to the Online Trading team.
- You will be delivering best in class online merchandising for our customers by QA’ing banners, link and ,pages, ensuring issues are resolved with the customer journey.
- You will be a key person in our trading team, maximizing cross-selling opportunities across all categories of the site. responsible for site search and results. failed searches and working with the team on synonym reviews.
- Working with the Senior Online Trading Manage you will ensure the website is working as hard as possible with regular changes to the Trading pages to optimise sales.
- You will be reviewing Weekly search, navigation and SEO analytics, recommending optimisations and opportunities.
In an ideal world...
You don’t need to have extensive Retail experience to join us. All we ask for is a minimum of 2 years experience working in an online retail environment an understanding of ecommerce merchandising and SEO best practice and knowledge of CMS platforms such as Bloomreach.
