Omni-Channel Sales Consultant

As an OMNI Channel Sales Consultant you will be fun, engaging and always positive. You will be able to influence through your passion, constantly thinking on your feet. You will be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with a resilient nature.  You will be well presented, enthusiastic and an exceptional listener to your customers and colleagues. 

Within this role you will be converting customers via the telephone and web chat by finding their perfect sofa and upsell to meet their needs. You will take time to listen and understand the customer to ensure that the sofa is right for them and their home. If a customer is struggling throughout their buying journey, you will guide and assist where needed to help the customer complete their purchase with expert advice.

You will be able to influence through your passion, constantly thinking on your feet. You will continuously develop your own skill set and always be willing to help others.

This role will be primarily working from home with one day a week either in store or Support Office and at least every other weekend working.

 

What you'll be doing

  • To help customers feel at home on a sofa they love by interacting across multiple channels, such as, telephone, webchat and email.

  • Help customers with general sales queries and assisted sales, resulting in a customer completing their order at home.

  • To demonstrate effective use of the company processes at all times to deliver an exceptional level of service deserving of a recommendation.

  • You’ll be guiding our customers to their dream sofa by asking relevant lifestyle questions and re-capping with the customer when suitable.

  • Maintain an excellent up to date knowledge of all products and services in order to advise the customer effectively.

  • Advising customers to help them choose new furniture that’s ‘right for them and their home’, using knowledge, experience and skills.

  • Deliver effective care advice to ensure that the customer has the knowledge to choose additional products to maintain their perfect sofa.

  • Ensure the customer purchases the right product the first time.

  • Understand and embrace all omni channel options so our customers choose the best way for them to purchase.

  • Showing designs & styles available for recommendations if your customer is a little unsure of what they are looking for.

  • Always offering the best customer experience & creating a fun atmosphere for customers at all stages of our Sofology journey, resulting in everyone feeling at home across all of our channels.

  • Putting together wish lists for your customers if they’re not ready to buy the same day, keeping in touch to offer expert advice to help find that perfect choice.

  • Completing customer orders & completing finance applications in line with regulatory FCA requirements.

  • Ensuring that FCA and TCF guidelines are followed and adhered to at all times.

  • Ensuring we effectively work all leads that are presented to us each day and pipeline customers to ensure future sales revenue and conversion.

  • Work with colleagues across the business to recommend process and product improvements.

Skills/experience .....

  • Previous sales experience 

  • Excellent IT skills as well as verbal and written communication & listening skills 

  • A positive & engaging outlook

  • The ability to influence through positive language and passion

  • Must be able to close the sale and gain commitment from the customer

  • Strong personality and a confident, clear telephone manner 

  • You will hold a real passion for ensuring customers receive the best possible journey

  • Adaptable to constant changes in a fast paced environment

  • A positive can-do attitude

  • Ability to achieve set goals and push yourself
