Payroll Administrator

Your new role

Working as part of the small Payroll team, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll team to process the monthly payroll processes and procedures. 

A day in the life of...

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Processing the monthly payroll adhering to payroll processes, procedures and statutory legislation
  • Supporting the Payroll Supervisor and Manager with ad-hoc tasks / projects
  • Support with Continuous improvement reviews
  • Audit and review of information received ensuring relevant internal procedures are followed and deadlines achieved
  • Production of payroll reconciliation and control reports
  • Resolving queries and data requests from internal colleagues and external sources

Capabilities Required:

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Organized, high attention to detail and the ability to deliver to strict deadlines
  • Confident with a professional manner and customer focused approach
  • Good technical and numeracy skills, to include Excel.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Payroll experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience of using IRIS Cascade system desirable
