The receptionist at Sofology demonstrates a friendly and caring nature and shows willingness to help at all times. They display positive behaviours and have a can do attitude when it comes to any task they undertake. They are quick and efficient with tasks and are excellent communicators both written and verbal. They embrace change and any task they deliver is done professionally and with attention to detail. Their organisation skills are pivotal to this position.

A day in the life of...

• Greeting visitors when they arrive

• Answering the telephone and either dealing with the request or directing to the right department

• Ensuring support office post goes out every day

• Scanning and answering ad hoc emails 

In an ideal world...

Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring the guestbook; issuing visitor badges and sending out the company post.
