There are a number of brands that make up the DFS Group, and this particular role will focus on driving performance across the DFS brand websites.
The role will be a mix of home and office working, with the Group Support Centre being based in Doncaster. Where you work best, works for us.
As the Senior Web Trading and Merchandising Manager for DFS you will be responsible for the sales performance and the merchandising of products across all 4 DFS websites. You will lead the launch process, set web merchandising standards and drive trading performance across sales, conversion and AOV metrics. You will do this by leading and developing your team building new processes and relationships. Strong analytical and commercial skills are essential in this role.
A day in the life of...
- Trading and Analytics
- Drive sales performance across all 4 DFS websites, DFS.CO.UK , DFS.IE, DFS-NL and DFS Spain ● Direct tactical trading activities e.g use analytics to review lister performance and sequence based on product KPIs to ensure top converting products are at the top, balancing online and store sales accordingly.
- Ensure team review products to ensure we identify reasons for poor performance and put plans in place to fix those issues with appropriate stakeholders, e.g. imagery, product content, merchandising
- Develop cross sell and upsell plans to improve AOV/IPO through all web channels using recommendations.
- Provide detailed reporting and insight on trade performance trends and opportunities using analytical tools such as GA, Power BI, Content Square.
- Manage and coordinate promotional campaign launches, new product launches across imagery, product set up, pricing, managing campaign dates.
Customer Journey
- Manage the A/B test plan and develop roadmap opportunities.
- Generate and implement conversion rate optimisation recommendations on customer journey enhancements
- Review competition weekly and provide recommendations or learnings
Relationships
- Build relationships with the Digital Marketing team to ensure email campaigns are aligned, landing pages are optimised and SEO opportunities are identified.
- Work closely with Buying and Merchandising to ensure your teams understand new product launches and campaigns.
- Work with Senior Web Trade and Merchandising Managers for Dwell and Head of Online to feed in specific IT roadmap ideas and align on trading plans
- Line manager responsibility for Web Trade and Merch Manager for Home, Web Trading Assistant, Online Product Manager, Web Operations and Optimisation Manager
