Warehouse Assistant

Your new role

As a warehouse assistant at Sofology, you are a very vital cog in the wheel of fulfilment. Ensuring our Customers products arrive safely in our distribution centres, ready for dispatch and ensuring that every one of our customers is left 'Feeling at home on a sofa they love'. 

You will manage the flow of a high value product (receiving, collation, quality control and dispatch) to stores and customers in order to protect it and with minimal handling, and in line with company policies and procedures, ensuring that it arrives safely and that its condition is in perfect condition. 

A day in the life of...

  • Receive and dispatch goods accurately to achieve company deadlines

  • Ensure all stock is available at the appropriate times for the delivery teams to commence deliveries

  • Ensure the accurate and careful handling loading and unloading of vehicles

  • Ensure that all product is handled correctly and safely to ensure maximum protection at all times

  • Identify and report stock shortages or damages

  • Pick and load customer and stores orders
